Thiruvananthapuram, January 25, 2023: Acsia Technologies, a global leader in automotive software powering Connected Vehicles, Infotainment Systems, and e-Mobility, today unveiled an exclusive recruitment initiative for differently-abled engineering students. This campaign, a collaborative effort with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, aims to enhance diversity and inclusivity within the engineering domain.

The placement drive took place on January 24, 2023, at the Mar Baselios College of Engineering & Technology. It was attended by notable figures such as Dr. Ciza Thomas, Honorable Vice Chancellor of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University; Jijimon Chandran, CEO and Founder of Acsia; Dr. Abraham T. Mathew, Principal of MBCET; Rev. Fr. John Varghese, Bursar of MBCET; Dr. Suja K. Kunnath, Principal of Academic Programs at the National Institute of Speech and Hearing; and Mr. Arun Alex, Coordinator of the Industry Attachment Cell at KTU.

This initiative marks a significant milestone in Acsia Technologies’ commitment to creating equal opportunities for differently-abled individuals, especially those in their final year of engineering studies. Dr. Ciza Thomas highlighted the critical role of inclusivity in bridging societal gaps and building understanding.

Jijimon Chandran expressed Acsia’s resolve to nurture an inclusive workplace that recognizes and utilizes the unique strengths and talents of all individuals, promoting equal opportunities within the broader automotive industry.

Organized by the Industry Attachment Cell at KTU, the drive provides a tailored platform for differently-abled students from final-year B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA programs at KTU-affiliated colleges to pursue career opportunities within the automotive software sector. This effort not only facilitates career development for these students but also integrates diverse abilities into the workforce, enriching the industry’s talent pool.
