Barcelona, Spain – September 2026: Acsia Technologies joined BMW at AutoSens Europe 2026 to showcase ASA Motion Link (ASA-ML) camera integration, supported by a graphical user interface developed by Acsia for the demonstration.
Held in Barcelona from September 22-24, AutoSens Europe brought together the automotive sensing, ADAS and autonomous driving community to explore developments across perception, sensor integration, validation and next-generation vehicle architectures.
Bringing ASA-ML Camera Connectivity into a Working Demonstration
The showcase brought together high-speed camera connectivity and the software layer required to make system behaviour visible and controllable in a practical automotive setup.
Acsia’s contribution included the integration of the ASA-ML camera system and the development of the GUI used within the demonstration. The interface enabled camera functions and streaming behaviour to be presented through a centralized software view.
ASA Motion Link is designed for high-bandwidth asymmetric communication between automotive sensors and processing systems. This is particularly relevant to camera-based ADAS and automated driving systems, where high-resolution image data needs to move efficiently from sensors to central processing units.
At AutoSens, the demonstration provided a practical view of how connectivity components and application-level software can work together within a camera-based automotive architecture.
Software and Connectivity for Next-Generation ADAS
As vehicle architectures move towards greater centralisation, camera and sensor integration is increasingly dependent on both high-speed communication and the software required to configure, monitor and interact with those systems.
The showcase reflects Acsia Technologies’ engineering work across Automotive Ethernet, ASA-ML, vision systems, ADAS integration and automotive software development, bringing the connectivity and application layers together within the same engineering environment.
This combination is important as OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers address growing sensor bandwidth, interoperability and system-integration requirements across software-defined vehicle architectures.
Engineering What Connects the Sensor to the Application
A camera link is only one part of an ADAS system. The information it carries must move reliably through the vehicle architecture and remain accessible to the software functions that depend on it.
Acsia’s work at AutoSens Europe demonstrated this connection in practice: integrating ASA-ML camera communication with an Acsia-developed software interface that made key camera functions and streaming behaviour visible during the showcase.
The demonstration with BMW adds to Acsia Technologies’ continued work around next-generation in-vehicle networking and software integration for increasingly connected and software-defined vehicle platforms.
