The initiative forms part of Acsia CSR Foundation’s continued focus on education and community-led learning support.
Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala | June 11, 2026: Acsia Technologies, a global provider of automotive software powering digital cockpits and displays, e-mobility, and telematics, supported the renovation of the school building and library facilities at Government LP School, Valiyathura, under Acsia CSR Foundation’s Gift a Story initiative, in association with Volunteer for India.
The initiative focused on improving the school’s learning environment through infrastructure support and access to reading resources. The work included jaali installation, library racks, painting of school facilities, and ornamental plants. Acsia Technologies also donated books through the Katha Project to encourage reading habits and improve children’s access to learning materials.
Prof. Dr. S. S. Lal, international public health expert, inaugurated the renovated facilities at the function held at the school premises on 11 June 2026. Gloria Joseph, Associate Vice President and Head of Pre-Sales and Solutioning at Acsia Technologies, launched the Katha Project on the occasion. The event was also attended by Goutham Ravieendran, CEO of Volunteer for India, along with students, Acsia employees, school authorities, and members of the local community.
“Education creates opportunities that can shape the course of a child’s future, and those opportunities often begin in the classrooms, libraries, and learning spaces that children interact with every day,” said Jijimon Chandran, Founder and CEO of Acsia Technologies.
“At Acsia, we believe that creating meaningful impact goes beyond providing resources. It is about creating environments where children feel encouraged to learn, explore, and grow. Education has remained one of the key focus areas of our CSR efforts, and we are committed to continuing our work with partners and communities to create opportunities that help children realise their full potential,” he added.
The day brought together Acsia employees, school authorities, Volunteer for India, and the local community in support of a shared goal: creating better learning spaces for children. For Acsia, the initiative reflects the belief that meaningful change often begins with practical, thoughtful interventions – a painted wall, a planted sapling, a shelf of books – and grows from there.
