Acsia teams up with AOX, wins Garmin contract to develop infotainment software for BMW
Collaboration to Propel Advanced Automotive Software Development and Engineering Opportunities.
Thiruvananthapuram, June 06, 2022: Acsia Technologies, a global leader in automotive software powering Connected Vehicles, Infotainment Systems, and e-Mobility, today announced that it has secured a significant partnership with AOX Technologies GmbH and GARMIN®, reinforcing its position as a key player in the automotive software industry.
The collaboration sees Acsia joining forces with AOX Technologies, a renowned automotive embedded software service provider, to support Garmin® in its Infotainment Program for BMW. This pioneering project will involve the development and maintenance of advanced infotainment systems and instrument clusters, with major software development activities to be positioned at Acsia’s Technopark Thiruvananthapuram delivery center.
Infotainment systems play a crucial role in delivering information and entertainment to vehicle occupants, while the instrument cluster enhances the driver experience with fully digitalized displays. Acsia’s extensive experience in developing such systems for leading automotive OEMs positions it as a reliable partner for this project.
Craig Puder, Vice President of Automotive OEM Engineering at Garmin, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Acsia, together with AOX, as a Garmin SW development partner, will further strengthen our competencies. We look forward to this association to offer digital cockpits to our customers.”
