Acsia Achieves AS9100 Certification, Launches Dedicated Defence & Aerospace Business Unit

Thiruvananthapuram, India – November 14, 2025 – Acsia Technologies, a deep-tech engineering company specialising in embedded software, electronics, and full-cycle product development, has successfully implemented the Aerospace Quality Management System (AQMS) in accordance with AS9100:2016 (AS9100D), a globally recognized quality standard for the aerospace industry. This certification, technically equivalent to prEN 9100:2018 and JISQ 9100:2016, was awarded following a rigorous audit conducted by TÜV SÜD South Asia, accredited under the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG). The assessment was performed in compliance with AS9104/1:2012 requirements.

The certification covers the scope of Design, Development, and Maintenance of Software, Hardware, and System Integration for Aviation, Space, and Defence sectors, marking a significant milestone in Acsia’s formal entry into the defence and aerospace market.

As part of this strategic move, Acsia has carved out a new Defence & Aerospace Business Unit (BU) and appointed company veteran Rejeesh R Pillai as Vice President and Head of the BU. This dedicated unit will focus on delivering mission-critical solutions for global aerospace and defence programs.
